Homeowner Associations in California are required to comply with the Open Meetings Act as well as the Davis-Stirling Common Interest Development Act. Both of these statutes have specific rules pertaining to communications sent to association members. LHA has begun using emails to supplement traditional notices of agendas, dates, times and locations of meetings and to distribute information from the working committees and the quarterly newsletter.
